Air-conditioning is not included in the price of your VanHome. The reason for this is that the most appropriate place to install your A/C is on one of our folding walls, and it actually works out much cheaper to get done on-site by a local technician.
We specialise in affordable accommodation, so we won’t charge you for something that you could get it done at a better price on-site. It goes against our company morals and core values. This goes for things like decks, awnings, carports and other on-site customisations.
We do, however, include the wiring, circuit and power inlet for your air-conditioner, which run to a junction box underneath the VanHome. This makes for an easier installation for your A/C technician, as they do not need to do anything invasive (or expensive) when fitting your unit.
We can fit an air-conditioner in our Studio Suites as they do not fold and can be transported with the compressor attached to the unit. For this, we recommend a 2.5-3.5kw unit. We can fit a 3.5kw unit for $2,190 to any of our Studio Suites.
We recommend a 3.5-5kw unit for our Single Expanding Suites and a 5-7kw unit for our double expanding suites.
